When reporter Sandy Case snaps a photo of Sebastian O'Nary sitting ass deep in a pile of Schwedy Balls ice cream, she has no idea how much his death will upend her life.

It’s not because he’s dead: Sandy is already banking on resurrecting her own tattered career through his death. Nor is it because she snuck into an active crime scene to get the photo and story; after all, when you are desperate, any method is fair game.

No, what she doesn’t foresee is how being involved in this case will not only put her squarely in the crosshairs of the people who killed him, it also ends up revealing to her crazy ex-husband just where she is hiding from him.

And right now, it’s a tossup as to which one is worse; the gang who killed Sebastian, or her ex-husband.

But will either one of them turn out to be a match for her?
