Gatekeeper Cowl

This is a simple, quick-knit cowl designed to make the most of a single skein of Pendle Aran. 

It uses a combination of 2x2 rib and an easy to memorise lace pattern.

Materials 

Eden Cottage Yarns Pendle Aran (aran; 100% Merino wool; 166m / 183ds per 100g skein) 

Shade: Cedar x 1 skein

Needles and Accessories 

One set of 5mm / US 8 40cm / 16in circular needle (or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge).

Size 

One size (can be adapted) 

Finished circumference: 53cm / 21.5 in 

Height: 29cm / 11.5 in

Gauge 

15sts and 25 rows to 10cm (4in) over lace pattern in the round, after blocking.
