These dainty diamond socks can be knit in an entire rainbow of colours, from the most bashful pink to the most scandalous red.

Yarn weight: Fingering
Gauge: 32 stitches and 48 rows = 4 inches in stitch pattern (blocked)
Needle size: US 1½ - 2.5 mm
Yardage: 460 yards (421 m)
Sizes available: Small (Medium, Large) | To fit foot circumference: 7 (8, 9)” / 17.75 (20.25, 23)cm

These socks are knit using the magic loop method (although the purchaser could easily adapt it for two circulars or double points).

This pattern includes toe-up and cuff-down instructions.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, knit through the back loop (ktbl), knit two together (k2tog), M1L, M1R, slipped stitches, slip slip knit (ssk), yarnover (yo), and wrap and turns (W+T). Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern. In addition, a video tutorial for the shadow wrap technique of W+T for short rows has been recorded by the designer.

This pattern includes instructions in both written and chart forms for 56 stitch, 64 stitch, and 72 stitch socks.
