The Old Man with a Lump (Audiobook)

This classic Japanese folktale features an old man burdened by a large bump on his cheek. Caught in a mountain storm, he shelters in a cave where he encounters ogres holding a lively banquet. Overcoming his fear, he performs an amusing dance that delights the ogre boss. As a pledge for his return, the ogres painlessly remove his bump. His neighbor, also with a bump, attempts the same. However, his dance is terrible. The angry ogres then put the first man's bump onto the neighbor's other cheek, leaving him with bumps on both cheeks.
