Then: interrogating a source instead of summarising it — claim, evidence, stated limits, what would make it wrong, what it assumes without arguing; a five-source comparison grid where the "not stated" cells are the interesting ones; finding whether a disagreement is about evidence or interpretation; and notes with exact pages where the one field only you may fill in is left blank.
