Once your Articles of Incorporation are filed, bylaws are what tell your nonprofit how to actually run. They cover who sits on the board, how decisions get made, and what the rules are when things get complicated. Funders and the IRS will both ask to see them, so having a solid set in place early saves you a lot of scrambling later. This template is written in simple, straightforward language.
