The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris France and the world. It’s located on the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle, it was formerly named Place de l'Étoile—the étoile or "star" formed by its twelve radiating avenues leading to it. My late Grandfather Ernest photographed this famous monument in the mid-1940's and he developed this negative in his makeshift darkroom and printed 8x10 image that I have. This is a copy of one of his original photos of this grand and famous monument. I have many of his old negatives that I have also

printed in my darkroom.
