Ukulele Music Class - Unit 2

'hands on' - holding, strumming, learning C F & G and 13 songs to practice these chords!

My school fundraised for ukuleles during the pandemic, and now I have 29 sopranos housed in 2 big huge tupperware's on wheels (that makes them easy to transport around)

- My ukulele is tenor (bigger and louder), and I had a button put on for a strap… - very necessary for wandering around.

- I have a little ‘service bell’ that I use to get their attention in class - rings above it all!

- this is a fairly easy instrument to learn so don’t be scared!

- these units are geared for grade 7 & 8 - I don’t teach this to younger grades, my students are too difficult to teach earlier!

  I will keep posting more units, as I compile them - please share to others you know teaching music at your school in case this is helpful! This is how I start my first music classes - with unit, then I dive into this unit 2

• no other paperwork - just rocking out with the instruments!
