SPEED CHAMPS: 6 Week Athletics Training Program for Kids (Ages 4-7)
Welcome to the Create an Athlete 6-Week Speed Training Program, specially designed for young athletes
aged 4 to 7.
This program aims to develop foundational athletic skills, focusing on agility, coordination, bal-
ance, and speed in a fun and engaging way. Each session, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, combines essential exercise with playful elements to keep young athletes motivated and moving.
Program Overview
Over the next six weeks, participants will progress through three levels:
Weeks 1-2: Beginner Level - Introducing basic movements and developing fundamental coordination.
Weeks 3-4: Intermediate Level - Building on skills with more dynamic drills for improved speed and agility.
Weeks 5-6: Advanced Level - Challenging agility and speed exercises to refine their athletic abilities.
Each week includes a structured warm-up, a series of core/speed activities, and a cool-down to encourage flexibility and recovery.
