About the story:
Ebenezer Scrooge is a rich man who hates Christmas. He cares only about money and has no kindness in his heart.
On Christmas Eve, everything changes. Three ghosts appear and take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future. Each ghost shows him something important — but will he listen?
“Merry Christmas, Uncle!” cried a cheerful voice. It was Scrooge’s nephew, Fred.
“Bah humbug!” said Scrooge. “Merry Christmas? Why are you merry? You’re poor.”
“Well,” answered the nephew happily, “why are you miserable? You’re rich.”
