Pre-reading slides for Read About Australia Set 1

These are sets of 5 pre-reading slides with a question and photograph, to get learners talking before they start reading the Read about Australia books. These slides are for the first four books:

• Beach Icons of Australia
• Amazing Animals of Australia
• The Outback in Australia
• Capital Cities of Australia

Back story for this: I created the books after library requests, but then realised that classroom teachers were also interested. Thanks to trialling teacher Angela Whyte at NMTAFE who made her own pre-reading slides, making me think that this could be something nice to offer to teachers – or to anyone running a reading group.
