This is the main event - the movie! Kaufman filmed his daughter, Sophie as young Rosita Alvarado, in green screen and placed her inside of his illustrative environments! Described as a 'keying masterpiece' this work was an extensive effort and thrilling adventure to create. THE STORY: Our planet, in response to the ill way we have treated her, has created an evil mist which is turning people into zombies and ghosts! Young Rosita learns of her ancestor, The Dread Pirate Captain Blood, and travels to Blood Island to brave his haunted castle and retrieve from his hoard the Talisman of Ahau-Kin - which was stolen by the conquistadors from the ancient Mayans. The Talisman has the power to cure the world. However, when she reaches the crows-nest atop the castle, she is beset by ghosts and she learns, from the ghost of Captain Blood's chief mate Barnabas, that the Talisman is on the bottom of the sea in the prate ship that they had scuttled just off the shore of the Island. Barnabas gives Rosita a potion so she can breathe underwater and she dives to the haunted ship and has a terrific adventure where she meets her ancestor in his lair. Watch to see the outcome!
