Make a traditional looking quilt in next to no time using the strip piecing patchwork techniques detailed in this pattern. Ideal for a beginner with a basic knowledge of patchwork quilt-making or a patchwork quilter who wants to get a project finished in a hurry!

This patchwork pattern is designed to make the very most of nine Fat Quarters with very little fabric left over. An ideal pattern for using up a coordinated pack of Fat Quarters or for reducing a stash of fabrics.

The pattern includes fabric requirements and instructions for making a quilt with or without the outer borders.

To complete the quilt you will need the following materials (assuming width of fabrics is at least 40"):

Nine Fat Quarters each measuring at least 18" x 20"
Sashing Strips: 1 yd (90cm)
Cornerstones: 1/4yd (20cm)
Outer Borders (optional): 1yd (90cm)
PLUS
Backing Fabric: 3-7/8yd (3.5m) for quilt without borders; 4-1/4yd (3.9m) for quilt with borders
Wadding: 66" square (168cm) for quilt without borders; 74" square (188cm) for quilt with borders
Binding: 1/2yd (40cm) for quilt without borders; 5/8yd (50cm) for quilt with borders

Equipment:
• Rotary cutter, mat and rulers
• Sewing machine in good working order

This PDF pattern is sized to print on nine sheets of A4 or US Letter paper.
