CristyAnn Soccer Accident LLC & LLWC Cast Talk (1280 X 720)

CristyAnn is out playing soccer with her team one day, and while moving in for the ball has a bad break – literally in both the  tib and fib. It looks as if  she'll be spending the  next 8 weeks in a casts and on crutches. It's difficult for a sportsgirl to be so restricted and she tells us so; giving insight into being casted, dealing with the injury, how people are treating her differently because of the cast, and her prognosis moving forward. After weeks in a non-weight bearing cast she is given a cast shoe by her doctor who wants her to start putting weight on the leg, so muscle atrophy will be minimized, and physical therapy will take less time once the casts come off.  Finally, after 6 weeks with the first two casts, she's put in an LLWC to finish her treatment in casts. She talks extensively about how the fractures are healing, her next step toward physical therapy, and most importantly about her time in all her casts. Lots of great closeups in this one  with lots of toe wiggling.
