This booklet comes as a PDF file for you to download to your own electronic device with our permission to print one copy. The idea for this booklet came as the 4 authors camped together at Palisade State Park in Central Utah's turkey country and prepared turkey recipes for almost every recipe. The meals were so delicious and fairly easy to make while camping, that they discussed how to share the ideas with others. The booklet contains 12 recipes featuring turkey in non-holiday fare from BBQ turkey drumsticks to surprise meatballs to pita sandwiches and more. Turkey is a nutrient dense food that provides a healthy alternative to red meat and is less expensive per serving than most other sources of animal protein. Turkey can be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is readily available in a variety of cuts either fresh or frozen. The recipes in this booklet feature turkey in various cuts prepared using a variety of cooking methods that demonstrate its versatility.
