Get Away Afdah: Richard, the father of a family of four, is represented by Frost as a funny and lovable father who adores his family. Son Sam, the role played by Sebastian Croft, daughter Jessie, played by Maisie Ayres, wife Susan played by Aisling Bea, and Richard plan their journey to the small and peaceful Swedish island of Svalta. When mainlanders warn against visiting the island during the Karantan festival, the family will not have their vacation interrupted by a few arrogant Swedes. The Karantan festival honors the isolation of Svalta, which resulted in hunger and murder when the English seized control of the island. When the family first arrives on the island, the community is not only unpleasant but also aggressive. The community does everything for the family to get them to leave before the celebration. However, the unaware family doesn't seem to give any thought to it. Despite their superiority complex and wilful ignorance, the Smiths decide to enjoy their vacation.
