Marshall Jmp-1 Sounds EL34 - Tonex V2

The “Jmp-1 Sounds” Tonex collection is a genuine replica of some of the Marshall JMP-1 tube preamp sounds.

It contains several usable sounds, starting from clean and then raising the “gain” step by step, to cover breakups, gentle overdrive, rock, hard rock and high gain.

 A sound for (almost) any situation, I used those settings on the real JMP1 and i’m using them now (in their digital version) with my cover band ! =^.^=

Sounds included :

-         Cln      Clean Sound

-         ClnX    Clean Sound + Xotic Booster

-         Blu      Drive Sound

-         BluX    Drive Sound + Xotic Booster

-         70       Drive Sound

-         70R     Drive Sound + RAT

-         80       High Gain

-         80R     High Gain + RAT

-         x90     High Gain

-         x90R   High Gain + RAT

For every sound there are 4 versions :

-         DI : Only the amp, if you like to experiment with different IRs or using a real Cab ;

-         Brit : Amp + Marshall Greenback Speakers Cab baked in;

-         US : Amp + Mesa V30 Speakers Cab baked in;

-         T : Amp + Custom IR baked in.

Please beware Brit, US and T version have no Hi Pass / Low-Cut filters; before using them loud and/or with something like an FRFR cabinet, apply HI Pass/Low-Cut filter around 80 Hz. Consider also a a Low Pass / Hi-Cut filter around 8 kHz if needed.

All Tone Models were made using my Marshall JMP-1 into a Class A EL34 Power Amp, boosting the signal occasionally with an Xotic Booster or a RAT.
