Sometimes when I play around with an idea, the end result turns out to be something else entirely. This is one of those. Originally meant to be a box or tea-light holder, I played a little with shaping and layers and voila! This appeared. It’s a dodecahedron, 2 inches (5cm) in diameter, made of 12 open pentagons, each with a second layer of stars to create this wonderfully stable 3D ornament that will delight any window or tree or wherever you might hang it.
