A slatted farmhouse tree collar that hides the ugly metal stand. One side lifts out, so you can fit it around a tree that is already up and decorated.

DIGITAL PLAN (PDF) - this is a downloadable build plan, not a physical product.

WHAT YOU GET

- 14 page printable PDF, US letter

- 3D isometric drawing of the finished build

- Front, side and top views with dimensions

- Exploded assembly drawing with every part labelled

- Complete cut list with quantities and exact lengths

- Shopping list with how many boards to buy

- Cut diagram board by board, saw kerf already accounted for

- 5 illustrated assembly steps, one page each

- Nominal vs actual lumber table and a metric conversion table

FINISHED SIZE

24" x 24" outside, 22 1/2 inches clear inside, 12 1/4 inches tall. That hides the stand and the water reservoir.

Fits tree stands up to 22" across. Measure your stand first - some artificial tree stands have wider legs.

SKILL LEVEL

Beginner. Every cut is square - no mitres, which is what makes this different from most tree collar plans. Two hours with a saw and a drill.

BUILD TIME AND COST

2 hours. About $25-40 in lumber and paint in the US.

WHY THIS PLAN

Every part was modelled in 3D and machine checked for fit before it was drawn, so the parts actually assemble. Measurements use ACTUAL lumber sizes, not nominal. The plan also shows how to scale it to 30 inches.
