"The time before night when it is not yet dark."
Dusk is a meditative and immersive drone music composition, inspired by the colors of the twilight time, especially during its final stage after which the piece has been named. It has been composed in Amsterdam during the spring of 2020, when the twilight time lasts for a very long time. The dense mass of electronic timbre still seems organic due to its chaotic structure, which sometimes reminds of a swarm of insects. The harmonic complexity of the piece puts this in the middle between the drone music approach and the textural composition. “Post-drone” is the term that the author likes to adopt in this case, which means something that moves too much to be a drone, but not enough to be something completely different.

Asleep? is what happens after Dusk. Dusk is an outside journey while Asleep? is an inner trip, made by coloured shapes moving in the darkness, when you're close to falling asleep but not yet there, stoned in the middle of two different realities, out of the time.
