This classic, no fuss, yet impressive cake is such a delight, especially in the warm months.

It requires no decoration, creams or fillings. Just the best locally sourced pineapples you can find arranged in a pattern of your liking before baking. For this recipe I have omitted the cherries and it is still just as good.

It is the perfect intermediate level bake.
