Know why a file's flagged, and what to do about it

XenForo's File Health Check tells you something's changed, but it gives you a filename and stops there — no indication of what actually differs, and no starting point for fixing it.

File Check Detail fills in that gap. Every flagged file now shows its expected hash and its actual hash side by side, right there on the results page — giving you the actual diagnostic information needed to sort out what happened and correct it, instead of a bare flag with nowhere to go.

The same underlying check now runs somewhere more useful still: on the install confirmation page, before an archive ever touches your site.

Installing or upgrading an add-on from an archive quietly checks that archive's own hashes.json against its own contents — right there before you click confirm. If a developer's package shipped with a stale or inconsistent hash, you'll see it up front, with the exact expected/actual values, rather than discovering it later via a routine health check with no context attached.

No blocking, no gatekeeping — just the detail you need, exactly where you need it.
