Jazz Reharmonisation: Lesson 1

This PDF contains all the steps that I covered in my YouTube video Jazz Reharmonisation Lesson1to change the harmonisation of a simple melody from three primary triads to lush colourful jazz chords. I explain what diatonic triads and 7th chords are, how to tonicize chords using secondary dominant 7ths chords, adding chord 2 before the secondary dominants, changing triads to 6th or 7th chords and putting chord 6 in between chord one and 2. It also contains the melody with three primary triads in all 12 keys, the final reharmonisation in all 12 keys, diatonic triads and 7th chords also in all 12 keys.
