These legwarmers were started when my orange cat Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome got sick. He passed away while these were in process, so I decided to make a pattern in tribute to him. I miss him and his snuggles every day. These leg warmers are like a warm unique hug. Always there when I need warmth and comfort. They work great as full leg warmers and as boot cuffs. The linen stitch really makes those special hand dyed yarns really pop, and they are reversible! So if you have a yarn baby with no idea what to make, give these a try! You won’t be disappointed! These are worked with Three Irish Girls sock yarn single skein, but you can use any hand dyed variegated or speckled yarn.
