Introducing 'How to write a successful STP application'! 🌟 Over the last 6 months we have spent countless hours pooling together our best STP application advice from over 15 different successful applicants to help you write that perfect application!

With over 8000 STP applications expected this year for around 400 STP places there has never been a more important time to make sure your application truly reflects all your best skills, highlights your passions and lets the markers know that you would be an excellent healthcare scientist.

During our own application processes, we were all so passionate about getting onto our chosen specialisms but found there were not many resources online regarding how to structure the perfect application. The scientific and transferable skills seemed quite confusing and many hours were spent thinking of how we could use our experience to align with those skills required. There were no examples of essays online so our only resources were friends who were also applying or conversations found deep on student room…. Many will relate to this struggle!
