Year 2 Ready: GPS — sentence types, apostrophes and suffixes (4 videos, 6 lesson cards, printables)
Year 2 is the year the basics have to become automatic. Nothing in it is dramatic — the same reading, writing and arithmetic as Year 1, but faster and more secure. The children for whom it does not get faster are the ones who start to find school hard in Year 3.
What you get
- 4 videos, about 24 minutes
- 6 printable lesson cards — parent explainer, worked model, practice set, full answers with marking notes, and the common mistakes to watch for
- The Year 2 Ready Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling companion book, every lesson in one document
- The slides from every video, including the overview deck
- A one-page A3 course map
- The full chart library: place value mats and Gattegno charts, hundred square, number lines, tens frames, all twelve times tables and the multiplication square, handwriting sheets in print and cursive, phonics phases 2 to 6, phoneme, digraph and trigraph charts, and the high frequency and common exception word lists
