Family Advent Activity Calendar | 24 Printable Christmas Countdown Activity Cards
Give December a gentle rhythm: one small, cozy thing to do together every evening from the 1st to the 24th. Cocoa and a story, paper snowflakes, a lights walk, a blanket fort, an orange garland, letters to someone far away. Nothing to buy, and nothing on a screen.
Every card pairs a hand-coloured 19th-century botanical plate (holly, spruce, mistletoe, poinsettia, orange, cinnamon and more) with gold borders, damask patterns and deep evergreen, oxblood and cream paper. It is pretty enough to leave out on the table all month.
What's inside (15 pages, US Letter + A4):
- 24 activity cards, each with the day, a short how-to, “you'll need”, and two lines for a family note to remember
- A Countdown to Christmas calendar board poster, with a star to color in each day
- 24 numbered round tags for envelopes, bags or a jar
- 8 blank cards: fillable (type a title and note in Acrobat Reader) or write by hand
- A color-one-a-day ornament tracker and a 24-link paper chain countdown
- An illustrated how-to page with three ways to set it up, and credits
The activities are non-religious and work for all ages. Print on card stock at Actual size / 100% and cut on the crop marks.
