Business English for Administrative Assistants: Planning a Business Trip
This task sequence is designed to simulate real-world skills required for administrative assistants, including listening comprehension, note-taking, collaboration, and planning. It is designed for learners B1+.
Learners play the role of an assistant for Jessica Chen. They will first process Ms. Chen's voicemail to extract details, then collaborate to organize her business trip into a week-long schedule. Finally, they'll use a rubric to evaluate task completion. It is designed to last approximately 120-150 minutes divided into two 60-90 minute sessions.
