🗄️ Database
The project uses MySQL with three main tables:
- cars
- customers
- rentals
The database stores vehicle details, customer information, rental records, rental dates, return dates and vehicle status.
💰 Rental Calculation
The system automatically calculates the rental amount:
Total Price = Price Per Day × Rental Days
For example:
₹800 per day × 3 days = ₹2400
🚘 Vehicle Status
The system automatically manages vehicle availability.
AVAILABLE → RENTED → AVAILABLE
When a vehicle is rented, its status changes to RENTED.
When the vehicle is returned, its status automatically changes back to AVAILABLE.
