A really easy to work coaster made with flat even count peyote stitch.
There is a wonderful canal boating culture here in UK, with a slower pace of life, back to basics, out of the rat race. It’s not just for holidays and touring, it is a lifestyle. Commonly on the narrowboats you will see decorated items and panels with traditional ‘Castles and Roses’ designs. These coasters have been inspired by that wonderful vibrant folk art style, inspired by the many artists I have seen who paint these simple yet effective decorations.
The colours are only a guide, and the backgrounds vary from boat to boat, so choose your own background colours, mix and match.
Each coaster is 80mm x 80mm, approximately 3 ¼ inches x 3 ¼ inches.
The pattern is 8 A4 pages, with illustrations, colour chart, and word chart.
