Your Weird Fits My Weird

Finally.

Someone who wants to hear the funny voices.

Your Weird Fits My Weird is a playful love song about finding someone around whom you can stop editing yourself.

He apologizes to furniture.

She introduces her plants by name.

The microwave gets an encore, the car keys have their own melody, and the pigeons are apparently plotting something.

“I brought my best behavior.”

“You can leave it by the door.”

Underneath the laughter is the lovely surprise of being welcomed exactly where you expected to be too much.

“The part I always edited

Was the part you liked the best.”

For the person who follows your detours, enjoys your nonsense, and asks for the rest of the story.

Keep the odd bits.

Tell the whole story.

We’ve got dancing left to do.

“Your weird fits my weird.

I like being me with you.”
