Two for Jaipur Shawl
This design was created for Rowan Tree Travel - 2026 Textiles & Treasures of India, Jaipur Edition.
This is an asymmetric wrap worked sideways in one piece. The design uses a simple lace stitch pattern worked all over in MC, interspersed with rows in CC to create stripes and add some texture.
Finished Measurements: Length: 68” (172 cm), depth: 14” (36cm).
Yarn: Samskara by TréLiz (60% Super Fine Merino 40% Recycled Yak & Cashmere, 218y / 200m, 50g)
Colourway Fight Club (MC): 2 skeins
Colourway Machu Pichu (CC): 1 skein
Needles: US size 5 (3.75mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 20 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10cm) in lace pattern after blocking.
