The EZPZ™ Home Relationship DNA Test allows qualifying family members to collect painless cheek-swab samples from home and submit them to the laboratory for professional kinship analysis.

This product supports the following testing configurations:

Grandparentage testing

One biological grandparent and one child

Grandparentage testing evaluates whether the tested grandparent is biologically related to the child through the family line being examined.

Testing additional biological grandparents may strengthen the analysis in some circumstances. Please contact Mecca Medical before ordering when more than one grandparent will participate.

Avuncular testing

One biological aunt or uncle and one child

Avuncular testing evaluates whether the tested aunt or uncle is biologically related to the child as a sibling of the child’s possible biological parent.

The participating aunt or uncle should be a full biological sibling of the unavailable or untested parent whenever possible.

Siblingship testing

Two alleged siblings and their biological mother

Siblingship testing evaluates whether two individuals are likely to share one or both biological parents. For this product, participation by the biological mother is required to help the laboratory distinguish the maternal genetic contribution and strengthen the analysis.
