Slouchy hats and berets are all the rage. And why not? They’re fun to knit, forgiving in fit for a wide range of head sizes, and don’t give you hat hair when you take them off. Tammie is a great choice for summer and fall travels, whether to Scotland or just around your neighborhood! The ribbing helps it fold up nicely in your suitcase, and the worsted bamboo/cotton/elastic yarn means it’ll have a good blend of heft and coolness.

SIZES:
Hat will comfortably fit a range of head sizes from 20in / 51cm to 24in / 61cm.

MATERIALS:

• 250yd / 229m worsted weight yarn. Yarn used in sample is a bamboo/nylon/elastic blend; wool blend yarns with drape will also do well with this hat
• 1 set US9 / 5.5mm circular needles, 24in / 61cm plus 1 set US9 / 5.5mm dpns or second circular, or size needed to make gauge
• 1 stitch marker
• Yarn needle
