Build glowing garden art: a woodland scene — real dried ferns, moss, and wildflowers — frozen inside a crystal-clear epoxy block on a walnut base, lit from below by an RGB LED puck. This 5-page PDF plan (Build Plan No. 17 in the Fox Feather Farms winter series) makes the lamp at 4.5 in (11.4 cm) tall overall: a resin block 5.5 x 2.75 in and 3.5 in tall at about 650 ml of epoxy, on a 6 x 3.5 x 1 in walnut base with a routed cavity for the puck. Inside: a side cross-section layout diagram, a cut/pour list, a full materials list with per-line costs in Canadian dollars (about $65 typical per lamp), the tools required, finishes and cure times, and a 6-step build summary. The pour runs in two stages — a tinted blue-green forest-floor layer, then clear layers that suspend the scene — across 6–7 layers of about 1/2 in each. The finished lamp is USB powered with 16 LED colours and a remote; the plan is firm on USB 5V LED only, no mains wiring, and on water-clear resin — cheap yellowing resin ruins the piece. Mini cube and XL block variants pour identically. About 2–3 hours of active work across the pours, with a 5–7 day full cure. Personal use only — print and use as often as you like for yourself or as gifts; please don't redistribute the files or resell them.

What you need: A rectangular silicone mold or melamine/HDPE form (6 x 3.5 x 4 in), clear 1:1 casting epoxy (about 650 ml), a 2.5 in USB RGB LED puck with remote, walnut for the base, bone-dry botanicals, and a router or Forstner bit for the base cavity. A printer if you want the plan on paper.
