Gumroad → Discord Access Kit

Sell a paid Discord community, channel or role on Gumroad, and have access removed automatically when someone refunds, files a chargeback or cancels their membership.

Most "Gumroad + Discord" setups have two holes:

1. Refunded buyers keep their role. Gumroad's license verify call returns success: true even after a refund.
2. 2. Anyone can forge a ping. Gumroad's Ping isn't signed, so a fake request can hand out roles.

This kit closes both.

What you get:

• A Node.js webhook server and linking endpoint with zero dependencies (Node 18+)
• - Each buyer links once with their license key and gets the role right away
• - Access is removed on refund, chargeback, dispute, or a cancelled, ended or failed subscription
• - Every ping is checked against the Gumroad Sales API, so forged pings change nothing
• - One key per Discord account, so keys can't be shared
• - A nightly reconcile script catches anything a missed ping didn't
