9. TRIZ-HYB-009 — Integrated TRIZ with QFD, FMEA, AHP, Optimization, Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence
Description:
This Master Prompt would focus on integrating TRIZ with complementary analytical, design, optimization and decision-support methodologies when TRIZ alone does not address every stage of a research or development problem. It would guide researchers in determining when and how TRIZ should be combined with methods such as QFD, FMEA, AHP/ANP, DEMATEL, Design for Six Sigma, Lean, System Dynamics, Genetic Algorithms, Kansei Engineering, Life Cycle Assessment, patent analytics, machine learning and generative artificial intelligence.
A major emphasis would be placed on methodological complementarity rather than arbitrary method stacking. Researchers would explicitly determine what each method contributes—for example, customer-requirement identification, failure prioritization, contradiction resolution, idea generation, multi-criteria evaluation, simulation, optimization or environmental validation—and establish clear information flows between methods. The literature shows that integration or domain adaptation is one of the most common patterns of contemporary TRIZ research. Examples include TRIZ with Design for Six Sigma, genetic algorithms and computational design exploration, and more recently generative AI/LLMs for TRIZ-supported eco-design.
