Sobremesa is a handmade vintage italic serif font inspired by the long, sun-warmed hours after a meal, when everyone is full, the plates are empty, the wine is still flowing, and no one is quite ready to leave.

Named after the hispanic tradition of staying around the table long after a meal has ended, Sobremesa carries the easy rhythm of hand-painted signs, old menus and slow summer days by the sea.

Its soft spiralled serifs and gently imperfect shapes give it warmth, movement and a slightly romantic feel. It was made for designs that need a little soul, a little sun and a lot of character.

Perfect for branding, packaging, menus, wine labels, posters, editorial covers, café and restaurant projects, summer campaigns, and anything that could use a touch of vintage Mediterranean charm.
