Hedda Half-Mitts are worked with construction and patterning developed and traditionally used for mittens and gloves in Selbu, Norway. Hedda includes a women’s cuff, a goat horn rose, coffee beans, dancers (or goblins) and a patterned palm. Many thanks to Anne Bårdsgård for her book, Selbu Mittens, published by Trafalgar Square Books of North Pomfret, Vermont. Pattern requires the following skills: working in the round in small circumferences, increasing and decreasing, chart-reading, stranded knitting in two colors.
