Windmill 'De Bataaf' Winterswijk

De Bataaf is one of the windmills in my hometown of Winterswijk in The Netherlands from beginning of the 19th century. This painting is part of the first collection tin box paintings I'm offering for sale online and available at an introductory price.

An exclusive hand-painted miniature oil painting on a wood panel covered with oil painting paper set inside a (mint) tin. It includes the palette of colors that was used to create the painting. Also included is a small wood block that can be placed at the back side of tin to support the lid when it is open for display.

This painting comes with an unique signed card with photos from the painting and the painting progress. This card serves as a certificate of authenticity and record of provenance.

The miniature painting is about 7.6.x4.6cm (3x1.8inch) and the tin is 9.7x6.4x2cm (3.8x2.5x0.8inch).
