Prelude in B flat minor (organ)

Prelude in B flat minor is a short, sharp and slightly whimsical piece. The first section flies

between fast semiquaver sequences and a syncopated theme which is present throughout the

piece in different forms. In complete contrast, the second is a gentle meander through the tonic

major in 7/8, before hints of the initial theme of the prelude return for a dramatic finish.

Prelude in B flat minor was written in October 2022 and is approximately 3 minutes in length.
