Valentines Art Lesson Love Letter Art Project Valentines Art Activity V Day Art
Create a Valentine's Day Bird with Love Letter art project with your class for a fun bulletin board display. Students draw a bird carrying a love letter and finish it with pencil crayon and oil pastel.
The lesson comes with a visual and text step-by-step (each step on its own page with a description), a rubric for marking, a heart tracing sheet and a step-by-step bird drawing so students can create the piece successfully. It works in the classroom or in a homeschool setting.

HOW TO USE IT
Look over the lesson plan for what to do and which materials you need, and gather them ahead of time. Read through the visual and text step-by-steps, and you may want to make a sample yourself so you can help students later. Photocopy any student handouts you need, such as the step-by-steps or rubric.
Print the sample in color to show students what they are making before the lesson (it is your hook). Then show the PDF on your projector or under a document camera, or use it as your own guide while you demonstrate. Every step has both a visual and a text description, which keeps things clear for students.
