How does it work?

To reach the highest executive level of alternating picking, the brain must be able to send Two distinct impulses to your hands.

Normally, coordination is studied with melody or chromatic exercises where the right hand picks the notes played by the left hand, but in this way the left hand will always influence the correct execution.

By isolating the movement of the right hand alone, the brain develops absolute control, creating an “executive” balance between the two hands.

To perform the proposed exercises, choose the setting you like most to hold the plectrum with your right hand, block the strings with your left hand on any part of the neck.

While performing the exercises, always watch the movement of your right hand carefully, concentrate on trying to “feel” the part you are playing, limiting tensions and the range of movement of the pick to a minimum, which must be as short as possible.

Come funziona?

Per raggiungere il più alto livello esecutivo di plettrata alternata il cervello deve essere in grado di inviare due distinti impulsi alle mani.

Normalmente si studia la coordinazione con esercizi melodici o cromatici dove la mano destra plettra le note eseguite dalla mano sinistra, in questo modo però la mano sinistra influenzerà sempre la corretta esecuzione.

Isolando il movimento della sola mano destra, il cervello sviluppa una capacità di controllo assoluta, creando un equilibrio "esecutivo" tra le due mani.

Per eseguire gli esercizi proposto, scegli l'impostazione che più ti piace per tenere il plettro con la mano destra, blocca con la mano sinistra le corde in modo che non risuonino a vuoto su qualsiasi parte del manico.

Mentre esegui gli esercizi guarda sempre il movimento della tua mano destra, concentrati cercando di "sentire" la parte che stai eseguendo, limitando al minimo le tensioni e il movimento del plettro che deve essere il più breve possibile.
