The Dapper Beekeeper Bowtie Knitting Pattern
When working in a yarn shop in 2018, I needed to be able to wear knits daily to show off the goods. Pretty easy in winter, but all that wool got to be too much in summer. The solution: knitting bowties. As a Sherlockian and beekeeping fan, a honeycomb pattern seemed appropriate for my first-ever design.
This is a great pattern for using up scraps - you only need a total of about 12 grams of fingering/sock weight yarn in two contrasting colors. Knitted in the round on US#2/2.75mm needles. Pattern includes a photo tutorial for assembling your bowtie.
Enjoy!
