Cinderhall Power and Heavy Metal: Eb Standard Guitar, Bass and Drum MIDI (Pack 15)

CINDERHALL POWER AND HEAVY METAL

Power and traditional heavy metal for 6-string guitar and 4-string bass in Eb Standard. Galloping riffs, double-kick choruses, twin leads in thirds, solos, a 3/4 waltz, a 12/8 march and clean arpeggio passages. Each arrangement runs about 1.75 to 3 minutes in song form (intro, verses, pre-choruses, choruses, twin lead, solo, final chorus, outro). Eight arrangements:

- Iron Vow (Eb major, 132 BPM, 80 bars; 4/4)

- The Long March (Bb minor, 104 BPM, 76 bars; 4/4)

- Crownless (Eb harmonic minor, 192 BPM, 84 bars; 4/4)

- Wayfarer's Waltz (Ab major, 150 BPM, 120 bars; 3/4)

- Shield Wall (Eb minor, 120 BPM quarter note, 60 bars; 12/8)

- Last Watch (Eb Dorian, 88 BPM, 60 bars; 4/4)

PROGRAMMED MIDI

The parts, drums included, were written in code, not recorded by players. Timing is on the grid. There are no pitch bends, vibrato or other articulation data; add your own.

FULL OR SPLIT PARTS, NOT BOTH

Load the FULL file or the split parts, never both, or every note plays twice.

TWIN LEADS AND MODAL KEYS

Twin leads are two voices in thirds on the lead track. Modal keys use their parent key signatures (Eb Phrygian as Ab minor, Eb Dorian as Bb minor); the quick-start explains this.

SET YOUR TUNING TO EB STANDARD

Guitar (6-string): Eb2 Ab2 Db3 Gb3 Bb3 Eb4. Bass (4-string): Eb1 Ab1 Db2 Gb2.

Guitar and bass a half step down. Guitar MIDI 39 to 75 and lead MIDI 58 to 82 (fret 19 or lower on the high string). Bass MIDI 27 to 49.

Tempos run from 88 to 192 BPM.

FORMAT

Standard MIDI files, format 1, 960 PPQ. Track 0 is a conductor track (tempo, key, meter, section markers); each part has its own named track. Time signatures 4/4, 3/4 and 12/8. GM drums on channel 10; guitar on channel 1, bass on 2, lead on 3. Not tested with specific DAWs or operating systems.

LICENCE

Use the MIDI files in your own music, commercial or not, with no further fees or credit, and edit them freely inside your works. You may not resell, share or redistribute the MIDI files themselves. Full terms: LICENSE.txt (English) and LICENCE-FR.txt (French) in the download.
