Big Bang (Advance Creative Writing)

This advanced creative writing unit transforms your classroom into a professional publishing house, challenging students to collaborate on a single, unified book project inspired by the rise and fall of creative partnerships—mirroring the story of the iconic K-pop group BIGBANG. Students will be assigned specialized roles (Character Designers, Lore Masters, Plotters, Project Managers, Writers, Researchers, Editors, and Marketing professionals) and work together to produce a cohesive multi-chapter novella. The unit emphasizes professional collaboration, role-specific responsibility, editorial rigor, and the translation of real-world inspiration into original fiction. The story—"Built Together, Broken Apart"—follows five friends who form a partnership (a band, startup, creative team, or other venture) and traces their journey from unity to explosive confrontation, with each chapter titled after a BIGBANG song.
