This cardigan is worked from the top down, beginning at the back shoulders. The back is worked to the armholes, then placed on hold while the fronts are picked up from the back shoulders and worked to the armholes. Then the back and fronts are joined and the body is worked to the bottom edge. The sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked to the cuffs, with short-row shaping to shape the sleeve caps.

Finished Measurements: 25.5 (30.5, 34, 38, 41.5, 46.5, 50, 54, 58.5, 62.5, 66)" bust, with fronts buttoned; intended to be worn with approximately 2" ease

Materials: Worsted weight cotton/silk blend: 565 (660, 735, 810, 900, 1015, 1100, 1210, 1340, 1430, 1525) yards. NOTE: If you plan to increase the length of the BODY or SLEEVES, be sure to purchase extra yarn. Model knit in Cascade Yarns Pima Silk (85% Peruvian pima cotton / 15% silk; 50 grams /109 yards): color #6898 Green Tea.

Needles and Notions: Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, 32" long or longer, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE; Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, 12" long, for Sleeves; Stitch markers in 2 colors; waste yarn; 4 removable markers; 5 (5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6) .75" (19 mm) buttons.

Gauge: In Stockinette stitch, 18 stitches and 26 rows = 4"/10 cm
