The Short Eared Owl FPP
Sew up your own startled short-eared owl! This pattern measures 16”x10” and is all straight lines, and the eyes are absolutely tiny. It is normal foundation paper piecing and I have included as many keys as I can and I think if you have done one of my patterns before you will be able to tackle this no problem. Please reach out before you are tempted to leave a negative review, I am here to help! The large amount of negative space to the right of the owl is one piece of fabric, and therefore it can be left off if you require a smaller block. There are no instructions included on how to actually do FPP, but there are several keys and a colouring page included. I finished my mini quilt as a wall hanging as an Aurifil Artisan with a lot of free-motion quilting and hand embroidery, inspired by the children’s book ‘Wow! Said The Owl’ by Tim Hopgood. Please share your pics with me, I love to see!
Disclaimer - Some parts of the pattern (especially on the keys) may have overlapping letters and numbers that may be hard to read. This shouldn't affect the actual pattern pieces and is caused by the program I use and trying to keep the number of pages in the pattern to a minimum. Please get in touch if you need any help.
