The big graphics of the exaggerated chevrons and the colour palette reminded me of the sixties. Maybe actually the seventies? I am mostly going by television on this - my memories of the seventies are limited, and I wasn’t dressing myself at the time.

Like Nordic Ski vibe, this pullover is designed for a sport weight yarn. It is worked top-down and in the round, with a wide neckline with a gentle scoop shaped by German Short rows.

Unlike its Nordic cousin, this sweater has some sections of colourwork that use three colours at a time, short sleeves, and a cropped body length.

Gauge:

This pattern has a long colour repeat which limits sizing options. Because of that, the pattern recommends two different gauges for the colourwork.

Sizes 1,3,5,7, and 9 should be knit at a gauge of 24 sts/ 24 rows in 4” in stranded knitting on 4mm needles.

Sizes 2,4,6, and 8 should be knit at a gauge of 25 sts/ 25 rows in 4” in stranded knitting on 3.75mm needles.
