Luode
DESCRIPTION
Luode is a modern colorwork pullover inspired by the crisp geometry of the blue-and-white azulejo ceramics from the Iberian peninsula. The striking circular yoke draws the eye while clean lines of the body and sleeves keep the overall look minimal.
Designed to be knit seamlessly from the top down, Luode combines a decorative colorwork yoke with thoughtful shaping to customize the fit. The pattern includes instructions for optional bust darts and waist shaping but the body can also be knit straight, omitting all shaping.
An understated rolled neckline and crisp corrugated ribbing at the hem and cuffs highlight the design's simplicity without distracting from the colorwork yoke. Luode is a colorwork sweater for knitters who enjoy a strong visual motif, clean finishing details, and an adaptable garment for everyday wear.
The pattern is available in 10 sizes from XS to 6X. Only charted instructions are given for the colorwork motif on the yoke. Measurements are given in both metric and US units.
